This is a private evening experience reserved exclusively for your group and hosted by Chinmay Dixit, who has spent more than 25 years learning about Udaipur’s royal history, old neighbourhoods, people and cultural traditions.
An English-speaking host will meet you at the pick up location where your private boat awaits. As you cruise past the City Palace and Udaipur’s historic ghats, Chinmay shares the stories behind the buildings, the people who once lived in them and the families that continue their traditions today. You will also learn how Lake Pichola influenced the growth and identity of the city.
A musician performs live on board while light snacks are served. Your host also takes photographs and short videos, allowing you to enjoy the experience without having to remain behind your phone.
There is no shared deck or crowd to work around—just your group, the lake, live music and the changing evening light of Udaipur.
