Planning and Booking

How do I book a Refuje experience?

Book directly on the Experience page or email myrefuje@gmail.com or use the website Whatsapp widget to reach out to us for queries. You’ll receive a confirmation once payment is successful.

We don’t hold slots without payment. Inventory is limited; please book early.

Yes—prices may vary by date, season, and availability. The final price is shown at checkout.

Yes. Most experiences can be made private; minimum charges may apply.

Usually yes, if a departure is running. If minimum numbers aren’t met, we’ll offer to join another cohort, reschedule, or credit/refund (see policy).

Some multi-day/overnight formats include vetted stays/transport. Check inclusions on the Experience page.

Payments & Invoices

What payment methods do you accept?

Major cards/UPI/net-banking via our payment partner(s). For bank transfer, write to us.

Yes—share your billing details at checkout or reply to your confirmation email.

Your bank may charge FX/ISS fees or use its own conversion rate—outside our control.

Changes, Cancellations & Credits

What’s your cancellation window?

See Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy for time-bands (single-day vs multi-day).

Yes—subject to cut-offs and availability. Free reschedule may apply in early windows.

We issue time-bound credits you can transfer once and redeem against any Refuje experience with availability.

Please request changes through the same channel; their rules may apply.

Eligibility, Age & Fitness

Minimum age?

Varies by experience. See the Experience page. Minors must be with a responsible adult.

We list a difficulty level and surface/terrain notes. Pick what matches your comfort.

Tell us during booking. For safety, leaders may adapt the plan or, rarely, refuse participation.

Not all locations are accessible. Share your needs; we’ll try to adapt where feasible and safe.

Safety, Insurance & Conduct

Is insurance mandatory?

Adventure-classified activities (e.g., Cycling/E-Biking, selected Hiking/Expeditions) require personal travel insurance covering the specific activity. Strongly recommended for other experiences too.

Yes—mandatory gear (e.g., helmets, headlamps, seatbelts) must be used where specified.

Not permitted. You may be denied participation without refund.

Refuje-approved leaders/guides, often with local expertise and safety training.

Gear & What to Bring

What’s included?

Each Experience page lists inclusions (gear, passes, meals, hydration, support).

Usually yes—ensure it’s in excellent condition and suitable for the terrain/theme.

Comfortable apparel, sturdy footwear, layers, sun/rain protection, personal meds, ID, and items listed on the Experience page.

Weather, Conditions & Authority Controls

Do trips run if the weather turns?

Leaders may alter timing/route or switch locations. Minor changes don’t trigger refunds.

We’ll attempt an equivalent alternative. If a material portion can’t be delivered and no equivalent is possible, we’ll reschedule or credit/refund as per policy.

Yes—some parks/monuments have weekly closures or permit caps. Check the Experience page.

Theme-Specific Clarifications

Cycling / E-Biking

Do I need cycling experience?

Choose difficulty appropriately. E-bikes make climbs easier but basic bike handling helps.

Where listed, yes—subject to local access rules (e.g., protected zones).

Hiking & Expeditions

How technical are the trails?

We describe distance, elevation, surface, and exposure. Trek with suitable footwear and layers.

Some routes may reach higher elevations; inform us of any history of AMS.

Camping / Slow & Chill / Solace

Fires & quiet hours?

Allowed only where legal and explicitly permitted. Follow Leave No Trace and quiet-hour rules.

Stargazing & Night Photography

What if skies are cloudy?

Sky clarity isn’t guaranteed. Where possible, we’ll pivot to an alternate session (astro-basics, optics workshop, night walk, photo-editing). If nothing meaningful is possible, we’ll reschedule or credit/refund per policy.

If included, it’s listed on the page; otherwise it’s a BYO or shared-optics format.

Wildlife

How close can we get?

We maintain safe distances, no feeding, and follow park/ wildlife department protocols.

No—wildlife is unpredictable; we plan to maximize ethical chances.

Culture, Local Life & Culinary

Is photography allowed?

Ask before photographing people or private spaces; follow host guidance.

Share allergies in advance. We use responsible hygiene practices but some cross-contact risk may remain.

Riding & Driving (Self-Drive)

Can I self-drive a segment?

Where offered, yes—with a valid licence, original documents, and compliance with local law. Seatbelts/helmets are mandatory; no driving under influence.

Renter/driver is responsible for traffic violations and damages per the rental/owner terms.

Private & Custom Trips

Can you tailor something for our group/family?

Absolutely—share your dates, group size, comfort levels, and themes; we’ll curate options.

Kids, Families & Pets

Are kids welcome?

Many experiences are family-friendly with age minimums. See the page for specifics.

Only if the Experience page expressly allows pets (many protected areas do not).

Photography, Drones & Content Use

Can I fly a drone?

Only where legal and with prior permissions; many protected/cultural sites forbid drones.

Sometimes. Tell your leader at the start if you prefer to opt out where reasonably possible.

On the Day

Where do we meet and when?

Listed on the Experience page and in your confirmation email/WhatsApp.

Group departures usually hold for ~15 minutes; private for ~30 minutes. After that, it may be treated as a no-show (see policy).

International Guests

Do you help with visas/insurance?

We can provide a booking confirmation; visas/insurance are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.

English and regional languages depending on location; ask if you need a specific language.
