Triund Trek 2026: Complete Beginner's Guide (Route, Checkpoint, Camping & What Nobody Tells You)
Nine km, 1,100 m of gain, and one rule that turns hikers back: the 11:30 AM Gallu Devi check-post. Triund is HP's most-walked beginner ridge trek, with Forest Department fees halved to Rs 100 in January 2024 (per The Tribune), a HP High Court cap of 400 trekkers and 20 tents, and operator packages from Rs 999.
