What to expect
A day with a Royal Family that resides in a heritage for in the village of Arki.
Arki is a small village, 38 kms away from Shimla. You will be dropped off at the village and then starts a Village walk. You will get to see the culture and habitat of the village. You will also get to see the flora and fauna that the village has to offer. Continuing the walk you will reach an ancient temple, a temple in a den. Ludry Mahadev is worshiped there. The den is as spiritual as any other temple. The priests there would tell you about the history of the den and the god.
Next would be a forested trail of 1 km that leads to the Fort, where the Royal Family resides. The family of Kunwar Nagender Singh. You will then be touring the fort and getting to know about the culture. Thereafter a inhouse made lunch will be served, an authentic delicacy of the village. After lunch the porch/garden awaits for you, to tell you stories that would teach you more about the history and culture of the fort and village.
