Weekend Pottery Class, Shape Your Own Piece from Scratch
The experience
What to expect
Pottery is one of those things most people are curious about and almost no one has tried. This class changes that. Every weekend at her studio, Ms. Virangna starts you from the very beginning the wheel, the clay, what each tool is for and why it matters. You learn to centre the clay, open it up, and shape it with your hands. Some guests make a bowl. Some make something only they can name. Either way, you leave with something you built yourself and a completely different understanding of the craft. Ms. Virangna has been teaching pottery for years. She has a way of making it feel approachable without making it feel small. Beginners leave feeling like they actually made something, not just survived an activity. All equipment, clay and an apron are provided. Your finished piece is yours to take home once it's dried.
Runs every Saturday and Sunday. Bookings close Friday evening. Reserve your spot before the weekend fills up.
