The trail takes you to the base of the Shali tibba temple, from where almost 100 stairs are to be climbed to reach the top and enjoy the spirituality, peace and a 360 view.

Description

The Shalli Tibba Trek is in the village Batala, which is situated in Tehsil Suni.
Batala is t a drive of 40 kms from Shimla. This would be 1.5 - 2 hour drive from Shimla, depending on the traffic. You will be dropped off at Batala, the base of the trek. This is where the real adventure starts, a 7 km hike. It is a pure untarred path. The trail is a mix the flat paths, Steep incline and a bit of downhill as well. You will experience breath taking views, steep climbs through big rocks and narrow trials. As you reach the base of the temple, it is a ground. Surrounded by the Himalayan range and fresh air. This doesn't end here, you have almost a 100 stairs leading to the top of the temple. As you climb the stairs and reach the top, you will get a 360 degree view. A view that is absolutely worth the 7km trek you did. After you visit the temple, there will be a light refreshment provided with the amazing view. The day does not end, now the trek that you climbed has to be walked down which is a different experience and you get different perspective of the trail. At the end of the trail, your driver would be waiting for you at the same place he dropped you off, to take you back after a long and adventurous trek.
