Frozen Ice Wall Hike (Winters Only)

The trail takes you through Spiti’s stark, silent landscapes, building up to a moment where you stand face-to-face with nature’s frozen artwork—raw, quiet, and absolutely unforgettable.
Kurith Waterfall Hike
Starting right from Zostel Homes Tabo, the Kurith Waterfall Hike is a short yet adventurous trail through Spiti’s rugged mountain terrain. The route heads towards Tabo before descending to the Spiti River, crossing it via a wooden bridge, and continuing through rocky paths, massive boulders, and narrow canyon-like landscapes to reach the hidden Kurith Waterfall — a refreshing spot perfect for exploration, photography, and experiencing Spiti’s raw natural beauty up close.
Stargazing & Astro-Photography Night
When the mountains go silent and the lights fade away, the sky above Tabo comes alive. Join us in the common room for a cozy movie night. With blankets, popcorn, and the perfect movie lined up, it’s the kind of evening best enjoyed together — because good films are always better shared. Every week, we pick something worth watching and create the perfect setting to unwind after a day of exploring the mountains. Whether you’re looking to relax or connect with fellow travellers, this is your cue to settle in and enjoy the show.
Bonfire Night
Wrap up your day in Tabo with a relaxed evening around a glowing bonfire, where the cold desert air meets warm conversations. Surrounded by raw Spiti landscapes and a sky full of stars, this experience is all about slowing down—sharing stories, enjoying simple moments, and connecting with fellow travelers in a peaceful, offbeat setting.
Clean-up Drive
Join us in keeping Spiti's pristine mountain environment clean and beautiful! Once every quarter, we come together as a community to pick up litter along the trails, roads, and open spaces that make this Himalayan village so special. Whether you're a local resident, a traveller, or simply someone who cares about nature, your participation makes a real difference. Refreshments and a wholesome lunch are provided for all volunteers — so bring your energy, gloves, and a good spirit. Together, small efforts add up to a lasting impact.
