Chitkul Day Trip
Chitkul is 28 km from The Kamru — the last inhabited village before the Indo-Tibetan border, at 3,450m. An hour and a half each way on a road that runs along the Baspa river the whole distance. The village is the kind of place people extend trips for. The most-requested day trip from the property.
Kalpa Half-Day / Full-Day Trip
Kalpa is 30 km from Sangla — the ridge town above Reckong Peo with the most direct views of the Kinner Kailash range in the district. Suicide Point, the Narayan-Nagini temple, and a stretch of the apple orchard belt that produced half of Kinnaur's export crop. Half-day or full day depending on pace.
Shimla Outstation
Full-day cab to Shimla via NH-5 for guests departing the Sangla valley. The road runs through Rampur Bushahr and the Sutlej gorge — one of the great Himalayan highway drives. Advance booking required; early departure recommended.
