Meenabagh Observatory

Astronomy Sessions

Step away from the city lights and peer into the deep silence of the Himalayan night sky. At Meena Bagh, we offer a rare window into the cosmos using India’s largest privately owned telescope (a massive 20-inch Dobsonian.) Guided by the clarity of the mountain air, you will witness the universe in breathtaking detail, from the textured craters of our Moon to the haunting glow of nebulae millions of light-years away. Depending on the night sky , marvel at Jupiter and its moons , Saturn’s rings, Moon’s craters, distant galaxies, nebulae and star clusters.
