Indoor Experiences

Pahari Craft Studio

Spend a slow afternoon in Marina's sunlit Fireside Studio learning ancestral Himachali crafts under the guidance of fourth-generation artisans from Rampur and Manali. Choose between hand-carving miniature walnut wood 'kangri' (traditional fire pots) with chisels forged in local blacksmithies, or mastering natural dye techniques using indigo from Bilaspur and madder root from Chamba. Apply your pigments to organic cotton scarves. Each session includes a tasting of artisanal walnut fudge and a keepsake kit with raw materials, tools, and illustrated instructions printed on handmade lokta paper.
